Medical stuffs again
[EDIT Feb. 5, 2004: It might help someone if I unlock these entries, so here they are] Okay this is a protected entry for a reason, and the first time I have used an edited version of my Friends list.
I got the results back from my mammogram, and they are not normal. ::sigh:: The gyn. said I should have an appointment with a surgeon *soon*, so I have one next Tuesday with the surgeon I saw back in Jan. 1998 when there seemed to be a problem but wasn't.
So my sis says that with what the mammogram is showing, it's stuff that is so small, I wouldn't have felt it. Neither did the gyn. That's what mammograms are for. My sis used to be a nurse and is now a medical transcriptionist. She said they will probably want to do a biopsy, which is going to be an incision. I am trying not to think about this too much. Or too much further down a path that might not be...
Cat'r came home right away when I told him; I didn't want Bunnicula to come home because he would lose hours (money) if he did. So they are both here now.
I don't know what else to write right now. I am going through a lot of emotions.
[EDIT Jan. 9, 2008: If you are following my journey through breast cancer, click the archive button on the side, choose 2001, then June - View Subjects, then go from there.]
