I just got an email from a group on MySpace. They wrote a song called "Come On Outside", using one of my cicada recordings. You might have to go there in Internet Explorer rather than FireFox to hear the music. Here is their page. My part starts about 45 seconds in. And goes on and on and on...just like the Energizer Bunny. Geez, I talk a lot.

Soooo...I don't know if I should feel flattered or angry. I feel a bit of both. I was not asked permission; I have not been credited for the extensive sample anywhere. ::sigh::
