Innocent Life and Yarn

Since I've made it this far in March, I'll try to finish the month out for NaBloPoMo. :-)

I've been reading some FAQs for "Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon", and a good thing too! I totally missed one section of a large cave, consequently missing out on a lot of important items! I've gotten some things done; but I am going to do some serious reading before I play any further. I don't want to get almost finished with this game only to have the volcano blow up and destroy the island--my task is to *save* the island!

W00t! Lots of Lion Brand Fun Fur yarn arrived today. It looks like the novelty yarn craze is over, so it *also* looks like a lot of soft, fuzzy yarns are being discontinued. I might have mentioned this in the last few days; but I like to use Fun Fur as trim on shawls and sometimes scarves, etc. I do *not* like doing fringe. Fun Fur is a nice alternative. It's almost non-existent in stores around here now; and Knitting Warehouse is having a sale on it now. I hope Lion Brand doesn't stop making this! But just in case, I bought quite a bit, to store up against the time when there might not be anymore.

I don't care if the novelty yarn craze is over. I *like* fun fur! I started knitting a new scarf today with a Lion Brand Fun Fur Stripes (self-striping) yarn called "South Beach". I would call it Essence of Springtime! It has pale peach, robin's egg blue, and new-grass green in it. It's just so beautiful and soft! It's nice to work with (SOFT) and fun to watch as the stripes create themselves.
