Offline journaling vs. blogging

Okay, posting every day *is* a hard habit to break.

That said, here is what I said in my paper journal this morning:

"The thing about writing here [paper journal] as opposed to blogging is that if this is boring laundry-list stuff, no one will care. Well, I don't know if anyone in the future would do more than flip through the pages and maybe dip in here or there, if anything. I can also write about more personal and family things here [paper journal]. However, online I have a sure audience, pretty much real time. It's a toss-up."

I guess it has to do with what you're trying to achieve: putting ideas out there on which you hope for comment now, in your lifetime; or writing about things that really are more private.
