Rambling, weather

I should go finish eating my late meal.

Why do I think that sitting here at the computer will make my iPod charge any faster?

Rain has been tapping on the window. I hope we don't get heavy rain overnight or tomorrow. We still have everything moved as far away as possible from the leaky roof/ceiling in the living room, but I'd rather we not have ANY leaking. Who knows when it's going to be fixed?! I also hope we don't have any thunderstorms overnight. I've gotten to the point that any remotely "severe" weather scares me. I don't consider heavy snowfall to be "severe" weather, though. :-)

Okay, back to food.

i don't mean to scare you, but if it's a flat roof, and there's already problems, heavy snow can cause a roof to collapse. mind, i'm in colorado so my "heavy snow" might not be the same as yours.
Actually, we probably won't have any more measurable snow again this season.

We do have a flat roof; but we've had 12", 14", and 18" snowfalls here and the roof has held up. We've lived in this apartment since 1984. It was an ice jam probably, plus an entire 18 hours of steady heavy freezing rain that did it.

Besides, the fear of a collapsing roof: what can we do? Worry about it? Try to get the money together to move? We can't repair it ourselves, and Bunnicula has recently bugged the manager again about the leak.
