Mama's birthday, knitting & crocheting, weather, etc.
I slept until 10am or so this morning. Then a looong breakfast because I was playing "Disney Fairies: TinkerBell" at the same time. ::grin::
Today is Mama's 90th (!!! wow!) birthday, so my sis set up a conference call with her and Mama and me so that Sis and I could sing "Happy Birthday" to Mama. :-) Then Mama was rushed off to a meeting: she is the treasurer of a group there in the nursing home!
After that I crocheted and knitted some while I waited for my Cancer Family Care counselor to arrive. Still workin' on the Choco-Cherry-Berry Scarf! I've almost finished crocheting a Faded Denim Back Porch Washcloth (modified by me--I'm crocheting into the back loop, not the front loop).
And since then I've been online some. Watchin' the chatter about a possible snowfall event this weekend in the Ohio Valley region. I prefer the WKRC Stormboard, but it's fun to see the people goin' nuts on the (in)AccuWeather.com forums too.
