I've been up since 4am! Eep! I need a nap later.
So in the wee hours I was (quietly) going through my stash, trying to see what I had in the way of Red Heart Kiss, Moda Dea Dream, and Caron Bliss, all soft yummy "pettable" yarns.
I found the yarn I had been using for
the cable scarf that I frogged and intended to do again later on, on bigger needles. I had some Red Heart Kiss in that bag too, as potential trim for the scarf. That got put with the other Kiss yarn. I decided I really didn't like the Bernat Softee Chunky (I think it is) for that scarf pattern. However it *would* be good for a couple loom-knitted hats, so that went in the yarn-for-charity-knitting bag.
And then I thought of what else I didn't really like (and would probably not wear if I finished it) that I was making: the Choco Cherry Champagne scarf. I really don't like Fun Fur anymore (I was using Lion Brand Fun Fur, champagne colour, for this scarf, along with the main colour) except for trim (in place of fringe, which I really don't like to make). So I frogged the scarf. And restarted it using one strand of the TLC Essentials Choco Cherry worsted weight acrylic yarn and one strand of Moda Dea Dream, Raspberry colour. Wow! Much better! After several rows of garter stitch, I decided to change over to stockinette. I'm lovin' it! I got 20 inches done on it this morning, which is a lot for me at one sitting. Well, not a lot if I were crocheting, but a lot for me in knitting with needles!
Got a couple of good deals on yarn at Ravelry! Payments will be going out tomorrow.
