Yarn, knitting, Rock Band (1 & 2)

Yesterday, after we played "Rock Band" and "Rock Band 2", I just hung out on the 'Net. Finally I stirred my lazy self and got ready to brave the cold.

Cat'r took me to Michaels and JoAnn's for yarn! I got a LOT of Lily Sugar'n Cream (cotton) yarn to make washcloths with; also I got several huge skeins of Caron One Pound and Bernat Berella '4' yarn.

Back home, I had a late late lunch. What did we do in the evening? Oh yeah, the guys went to the grocery, while I finally finished knitted my first in-the-round hat. Aaargh! I've used double-pointed needles (DPNs) before; but for some reason it seemed harder, transferring everything over from the circular needles to the DPNs. And then, what with having to keep count of the decreases, I felt like I was really having to fight with them. I messed up on my count at some point, but the hat still came out looking okay. :-) Cat'r's first response, when he saw it, was, "Awesome!". :-) I'll take photos in a day or so and have them up in my needlework section of my site.

Late late last night Cat'r and I played more "Rock Band 2". :-D Addictive.
