The right place for me!

mood: excited
Woohoo! I found the right place for me to do charity knitting and crochet! It's a list called Love's Many Cloths, and they are involved in helping lots of different charities. Here is their website.

I'm gonna make washcloths for shelters, I think...for now. :-) I need to go through my stash and see if I have any cotton yarn (I USED to); and if not, have Cat'r take me to Michaels tomorrow, since they are having a sale on Lily Sugar'n Cream yarn.

Whoopee! This looks like a fun group that does good things. :-)

grar. i can only look around their yahoo page if i become a member of the group. >.< oh well. one of these days i need to stitch together all my squares and make a rag-tag blanket :P

You can knit or crochet just about anything you'd like, because there are charities out there that need hats, scarves, mittens, slippers, washcloths (seriously!), pet "cuddles" (blankies), squares for afghans, blankets for babies, baby clothes, and more! Different folks collect for various charities around the country. You can decide what you want to make, etc.! No time limit, no quantity limit. Just chatty nice people. :-)

Yes, please especially watch "The First Dance" at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball to the song "At Last". SO ROMANTIC! They are such a wonderful couple! We have the best First Family EVAH! :-)
