I'm blown away!

Not only did I win the House Model this morning from the Happy Room Academy (by scoring 70,000 or more points--I have 117,399 as of now); I also have the Model Room of the Month for the theme of "sophistication"! That means it's on display in the City at the HRA HQ.

What *really* blows me away is that I thought, okay, I got the house model and recognition because of having both the Harvest series and the Jingle series of furniture. I guess that sure helped; but the room on display at the HRA HQ is MY BASEMENT!! I thought the HRA *never* looked at basements! It's not even the way I totally want it yet! But it's full of Japanese furniture and rare-ish things. Lyle was absolutely nuts over my lucky cat (not a rare one--just the one you can buy at Tom Nook's) and wants to know WHERE I GOT THAT PUPPY! heh

Back in the first game, I used to have a suspicion that the HRA inspectors peeked into basements. They used to send letters with suggestions of what you could do with interior decoration; and they often included hints of what you could do with things you (secretly, or so we thought) had in your basement.

So I am seriously grateful to Indigo and Keny for the Jingle series of furniture. And very appreciative of Sarah's helping me get a lot of the Japanese items.

Next stop: perfect town. I have all the acre markers down now (what a JOB! 25 acres, 16 x 16 squares). Later today I'll have to see about quarter-acre markers. Then tomorrow comes the adjustments to landscaping.
