Democratic National Convention

Bunnicula and I were kinda slow last night in figuring out how to watch the convention without any commentary. We FINALLY found what we wanted on C-SPAN!

We watched everything. The highlights were the tribute to Senator Ted Kennedy...and then his showing up and giving a rousing speech! And the introduction to Michelle Obama's segment done by her mom, then Mrs. Obama's speech itself and their daughters coming out on stage afterwards. :-)

I don't know if we're going to watch all of it tonight. It can be tiring! I think maybe we'll watch just Gov. Mark Warner's keynote address and then Hillary Clinton.

Oh, Ted Kennedy did show up? That's great! I only watched bits of it, I wish I'd seen him. I did see the little Obamas though. The littlest one was so adorable!
Yes, not only did Ted Kennedy come onstage (after Caroline Kennedy introduced a tribute film to him and we all watched that), he stood there at the podium and gave a speech, a strong one! And took his time leaving the stage afterwards (lots of family members crowded around him). I hope he gets plenty of rest after that! He seemed pretty strong, considering!
