Pens!
All three of my Lamys arrived today! See the pics again at CM's Diary (scroll down for the third pen).
The colour on the raspberry AL-Star is not at ALL as pink as that! It's pretty much a frosty aluminum RED. Nice, though. :-)
So I have J. Herbin Lie de The (brown) ink in the lime-green Safari (and boy, that fine point seems like a medium, though it's marked F on the nib); J. Herbin Rouge Opera in the raspberry AL-Star (what an interesting old-looking yet pale and slightly watery red coming out of the extra-fine nib!); and Pelikan Royal Blue in the blue-with-red-clip Safari--this blue is almost the same as Parker Quink Washable Blue. What I really need for this last pen is Diamine China Blue. I'm getting a sample of it in a day or so. Then after that I can decide if I'll spring for a bottle this month or next.
Anyway, all three pens are lovely smoooooth writers! I love them!
