aw. i always like thunderstorms, especially at night. it's snuggle weather.
scares the crap outta my poor dogs though. that's the only complaint i have. while i'm nice and snuggled warm in bed, my dogs are freaking the FUCK out and whining and everything. so i have to unsnuggle and pet them till the storm's over.
yeah. i dunno. they just kinda didn't sleep. i'd sit there and watch them and they'd just wake up and be like, "dude. wtf was that? huh. whatever." and go eat or run on their wheel.
course, the one didn't understand what a Cat was either. kept trying to stick her face out and play with the cat. that failed hard.

when i had pet mice, they never even noticed when it thundered. it was weird.
I look at NOAA's Convective Watches. If there are not any west of us, I feel better. :-P Right now the scary stuff is well south of us.

they also knew that while they were in their cage, they were safe. so. why worry?
