Serious Black
(no, not Sirius Black, Harry Potter's godfather). That's what I've named our new toaster. :-P I mean, this toaster has presence. It means business. I'll have to take its picture.
Our other toaster (a white-and-chrome Toastmaster), actually Cat'r's, started malfunctioning (one side of browning elements stopped working). It's about 7 years old or more. So on Monday we ordered a Hamilton Beach (after I searched and read reviews at Epinions and amazon.com for about an HOUR). It arrived today! Yay, Amazon Prime! So far I'm liking this toaster. Cat'r can't wait to try out some whole-grain English muffins in it this weekend.
Gotta think of kind words to say to the Toastmaster before I bundle it up and have Bunnicula take it out to the dumpster...It *was* a brave little toaster and served us faithfully for many years.
