Excited, nervous
Heh. I'm going to knit in the round again, with double-pointed needles AND learn to do cables at the same time. Eek! I'm hoping to (successfully) make these cute Victorian Wristlets.
I ordered two more pair of DPNs (Brittany Birch) that I needed (size 3 and size 4) from an almost-LYS (local yarn store) over the phone: Lambikins Hideaway up in Hamilton, Ohio. The needles should get here tomorrow or Saturday! Yay!
I ordered a couple different kinds of non-animal-fibre fingering-weight yarn from Yarn Market--they are fast and wonderful. I should get that either tomorrow or Monday (they ship via UPS, which does not deliver on weekends).
Soooo, I hope I'll be able to do a good job on the wristlets. I was going to learn how to do cables on a scarf that's in the book Celebrity Scarves 2: Hollywood Knits for Breast Cancer Research, but these wristlets just CALLED to me! :-P
