I love the various "Hardwood" games from Silver Creek Entertainment. They've got a sale going on until November 30th too!
I have had Hardwood Solitaire III for almost 5 years, Hardwood Hearts since February of this year, and I just bought Hardwood Euchre (which Cat'r just taught us) yesterday. I love them all!
They are for the computer, available as download with unlock keys when you purchase them. You can also get them on CD-ROM if you want. They also have Spades, Backgammon, and Ruckus Buck's Dangerous Mines (Cat'r says this is a Minesweeper-type game).
Anyway, the games (except for solitaire, of course) have computer opponents, are very customizable, are very beautiful, and you can also play most of them online against other humans.
So I'm enjoying Euchre at the moment. Daddy and the other farmers up in north-central Ohio used to play Euchre, so I'm feeling connected to him with this. :-P Cat'r says Euchre is a regional thing, very Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan.
Oh, Hardwood Solitaire III contains over 100 solitaire games!
So, just wanted to share. We've got these games on all our computers. :-)
