Yay!

I had my six-month mammogram and ultrasound yesterday. When the radiologist wanted "extra views", I started to worry. Then the technician that did the ultrasound took a long time looking at my older films, and she *also* took extra views. Then she left me in the ultrasound room for what seemed like forever. I was truly worried then and started mantras and prayers and preparing for bad news. The tech finally came and got me and escorted me to a room where my breast surgeon would come to talk to me and also do an exam. I asked that DH be brought back to be with me, and he was.

The first thing Dr. H said when she entered the room was, "Good news!" Well, I think it was a longer sentence than that, but that's all I remember. I said, "I need a hug!", and we did. :-) She showed me what the radiologist had written, that what they were watching has been stable since last June (2006). Yay! She did the exam, and I don't have to go back for a YEAR! Yayayayayay!

Afterwards we all went to GameStop to celebrate. ::grin:: I got "Cooking Mama" for the Wii and "Elite Beat Agents" for the DS. Then home. I didn't play any Wii games last night because I was kinda sore still from the mammo.

Anyway, now I can have a nice relaxing weekend, week, month, etc. *knock on wood!* ;-)
