My neck
I saw my primary care physician this afternoon. He wants to try physical therapy first. He thinks it's an inflamed trapezoidal muscle and some possible arthritis in my neck.
So there is a physical therapy place just up the street from us (yay!). My doc gave me a prescription for me to go to them. I will phone them tomorrow and get set up. The doc expects they will want to work with me 2-3 times a week, which sounds good to me. I am gooood at putting my heart and soul into physical therapy. I had home physical therapy for adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder), and I went to physical therapy for back exercises. Both times I was motivated and did well. I am motivated NOW and look forward to getting better. :-)
The doctor said if we don't see improvement after three weeks, then he will order an x-ray and go from there. Well, let's hope things improve in that time. :-)
