Cell phone recommendations?
At present I am with Virgin Mobile (but their customer service sucks), and I have a Kyocera K10 Royale (it's all I could afford at the time).
I am looking to upgrade in both service and hardware. Here is what I am looking at: Cingular/AT&T's Go Phone/Pay As You Go service. And for a phone a Motorola RAZR V3 Silver.
About the phone: does anyone have one? Does it feel flimsy? What are the drawbacks? What should I consider instead?
The only other two pay-as-you-go services I know of are TracFone (ugh) and Boost Mobile (Nextel). I am not particularly fond of the Motorola phones Boost is offering.
Oh yeah. I don't use my phone that much. so 25 cents a minute won't kill me. I actually have a huge backlog of $$ at Virgin Mobile because I just plain don't use it, plus everytime I try to download something (ringtones, wallpaper), it just doesn't get to my phone. Customer service says, "Try again in a couple hours." ::sigh::
I even talked to my sister for 25 minutes yesterday just to try to use some of the balance. The call was full of drop-outs on both sides. At least once she asked, "Are you still there??"
So Cingular is looking like the most reliable service. I just need to find the exact right phone to go with their Pay As You Go/Go Phone service. :-)
