Winter has me in its grip...

I like my new/old Don McLean CDs. :-) (I also like my new Buddhist and Hindu chant CDs)

Anyway, today we had bright sun and dark clouds, alternating. And very cold temps, wind, and SNOW showers!

In just a few minutes, we are all going to watch Sunday night's episode of "Deadwood". We finished watching all of Season One last night on DVD. This is such a powerful series. I saw subtleties this time through I didn't catch the first time. There is so much complexity, so much fine writing and acting!

Crochet: I haven't been talking about, but have been doing: lemme see...little envelope/pouch for tarot and dream cards to put under my pillow; openwork lavender fingerless gloves; somewhat openwork/mesh lavender flapper/20s cloche with a big matching flower on the side of it. I forget what else. I am currently working on a Round the Capelet in the same lavender as the fingerless gloves and hat--this set will be for a mild Easter. Next I will be working on a heavier cape and matching cloche in case of cooler temps. And I hope to also get a matching hat and scarf done to go with a yet heavier spring coat in case it's colder still. If I'm REALLY quick and energetic, I will do a hat and scarf of winter weight but in spring colours to go with my winter coat in case of downright winter temperatures!

Okay, off to look at "Deadwood".
