Crochet yet again!
I got halfway through my mohair-like scarf with the granny-square ends yesterday; I finished it today. :-) I did it with varying colour stripes in between the granny square ends: 12 rows Mystic Purple on each end, 18 rows Persimmon inward on each end, 28 rows Redwood in the middle. The granny squares each have a center of Redwood, middle of Mystic Purple and outer part of Persimmon. This yarn is supposedly in the 4 category, same as worsted weight yarn; but it seems fine and light to me. I used an H hook. The rows in between the granny squares are double crochet. FUZZY! And soft. :-)
I also crocheted a scarf today that matches the roll-brim hat (heavier winter hat). It's a super bulky yarn, and I was using a large hook, so it went FAST! Both scarves are 5 feet long.
Tomorrow I plan on putting the fringe on Cat'r's scarf, then doing a new hat for him (I don't like how the original turned out).
I also need to do some ironing and hem up a skirt.
