More crochet!

I finished Cat'r's variegated blue scarf/muffler last night/early morning, except for the fringe (already cut, just needs to be added), but I want to redo the matching hat.

I did a roll-brim hat for myself last week in Patons Bohemian "Wandering Wines"--a wonderfully soft can't-stop-touching-it super bulky yarn. I am currently working on a matching scarf for it.

Yesterday/today I did a cute little, well, not a skullie but almost a cloche hat (very 20's!) in Red Heart Symphony (an acrylic yarn that is just like mohair!) Mystic Purple with a shell edging of Persimmon. I also made a flower of the Mystic Purple and Persimmon and a leaf from Redwood (those were the only acceptable colours I could find at Walmart!) and attached those to the front of the hat. Turned out very neat! So now I need to design a matching scarf. I am thinking of doing something with two granny squares at each end, with a main colour all the way in between (it'll have to be whatever I have the most of, NOT the Mystic Purple--I got the only skein they had at Walmart)...or possibly some wide stripes of colours in between the double-granny-square ends.

I want to get all this stuff done before next Friday, when Cat'r and I go to see some fireworks! I am not sure how cold it's going to be, so I want to have both my scarves done. :-P Cat'r probably won't need his hat, so that might be able to wait. His scarf will be all ready.

Anyway, no photos yet until I get all the matching pieces done. :-)
