More crochet stuff
Okay, I started on the throw last night, but realize I *really* don't like the Red Heart Light and Lofty, especially in this dark colour. So I am going to take the remaining (untouched) 5 skeins back to Meijer's today (I undid one skein and rolled it into a ball).
What I *am* going to do instead for this throw pattern is use two or three strands of worsted weight yarn held together. I bought more Bernat So Soft yarn on sale at Herrschners. I am planning on using Antique Rose, Light Rose, and White together.
What I will do with the Red Heart Light And Lofty Navy Grape that I have left (I will have 2 skeins--the one from Meijer's that I can't take back and one on the way from Herrschners) is probably make a lapghan or something. I am going to rip out what I've done and possibly use a Q hook, play around with it and see what would feel more drapable.
The things that make this yarn so hard to work with are the fuzziness of the yarn and the huge slubs. Also, the dark colour. But I shall prevail! ::grin:: I'll do *something* with it. :-)
