Mostly crochet stuff
Egads, where did the day go?! Late breakfast, reading, knitting, being online.
Bunnicula went back over to the shopping center this afternoon and got me four more skeins of Lily Sugar'n Cream, plus a crochet hook. I thought I'd misplaced one of a set, so I had him get me that one to fill out my Boye Crochet Master set. I don't even *like* Boye hooks anymore, but that empty loop in the case bothered me. :-P Turns out I found the hook (after he got back home, naturally!): it's in with the little baby banana amigurumi I haven't finished!
I LOVE Susan Bates hooks now! They go into the stitches better and hook the yarn neatly and smoothly and come back out with no problems. Also their hooks are consistently the correct size they have marked on the shaft. With Boye (and old Hero) hooks, I always have to check with a needle gauge.
