Games, TV, Valentine's, etc.
Slept late today.
I waffled about going out today. This might be the last time I have a chance to wear any truly warm winter hats and scarves that I've made until next winter (Bunnicula disagrees). We even had a light snow covering this morning. So I thought about going to Meijer to look at yarn. And Michaels had a sale on Lily Sugar'n Cream yarn. But I don't really *need* any more yarn right now. I wanted to spend more time here at home with the Cat'r instead. So, we didn't go out.
What we did do: we all played some games: a Cheapass Zombie game that I didn't really understand: we played two variants on the card game Change! My brain was not working. Or I needed a brain. :-P Then we played 8 1/2.
A break from games: Cat'r and I watched the Doctor Who Christmas Special (2008). It was good, as all the Doctor Who stories are. I am going to miss David Tennant! And to think I didn't like him at first. Wellll, I just have a big crush on Christopher Eccleston's Doctor.
Then we all played a couple more games: Up the River and Quiddler.
Cat'r needed a nap and I needed a late lunch. B. worked on his computer (or played "Disney Fairies: TinkerBell"?). After my meal I got online a bit.
Then around 7pm B. fixed supper for the guys, and we all watched the first episode of "Dollhouse". Weeeird but good. It's Joss Whedon, and stars Eliza Dushku and also has Amy Acker (Fred in "Angel"). What's not to like? We are going to watch the second episode next weekend and then be caught up. Or maybe there will be an episode this week, so we'll watch two next weekend. Anyway.
Cat'r went back to L'ville at 9pm. He'll phone when he gets there.
I forgot to mention: Cat'r gave me a cute little amigurumi monster for Valentine's Day (a little late--he was sick and couldn't get up here on the day). It's the green-and-white one on the right. It has a little ceramic heart inside with a kiss (X) on it. :-)
