in a particular charity group. I found out that what I *wanted* to make, helmet liners for the troops, requires wool yarn. They are no longer accepting these hats made in acrylic. Darn. I'm allergic to wool.

So I'm waiting to hear back as to what I *can* do with acrylic yarn, that is not a large project.

I'm waffling between making baby items for military families or working on lapghans for wounded soldiers. Maybe both...I need yarn info and patterns and other info. Waiting is.

ETA: I left this group. I need to find something I can do that's less constraining.

It's Bunnicula's birthday today! Happy Birthday! :-)

We'll be celebrating it as a family tomorrow, when Cat'r gets up here. :-)

It's gonna be a fight forever. The Dems in Congress are going to give Obama trouble. You *know* the Republicans are going to cause trouble.

Sometimes I think all the people of the United States should march on Washington *again* and tell Congress to do what we SENT them there to do: help us! Do the peoples' will, not theirs!
