Inaugural events

HBO will be televising FREE the Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday, January 18th at 2:30pm ET. Here is more.

Monday evening there will be a Kids' Inaugural event live on the Disney Channel at 8pm ET.

Tuesday evening, ABC will be showing the first-ever Neighbourhood Inaugural Ball. It will also be Webcast. There will be updates from the ballroom. :-)

Wait. Just watch this and you'll learn about all of it:

My cozy desktop

This is how my desktop looks as of now (click on the pic to see it larger):

Day of Service

Barack Obama is asking us all to do some kind of volunteer work on Monday, January 19th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

I looked through the list of events in our area. None of them would work for me. Duh! I finally remembered something I *can* do! I can work on squares for the Warm Up America! Foundation. They have a drop-off bin over at Michaels at our nearby shopping center. This is something I can and should be working on, on a regular basis. If I crochet, I can get more squares done--I'm a faster crocheter than knitter.

So what are *you* going to do on Monday?

Mouse Guard

Ooo, Cat'r got me a copy of the beautiful hardbound book Mouse Guard Role Playing Game. W00t! He's gonna run a game just for him and me.

I need to get a couple issues of Mouse Guard that I'm missing, then reread everything.
