I do not count this as an entry for Monday, since it's still Sunday night to *me*.

Cat'r left around 9pm. There was light snow on the ground and light, fine snow coming down. I told him to be careful on bridges and overpasses, etc. He phoned about 2 hours later to let us know he'd gotten back down to L'ville safely. :-) He said it *had* been slick in spots until he hit the 75-71 split. Then it was drier and easier driving from then on.

Missing him already...a whole week before he's back up here. :-/ This long-distance thing is so hard. It's been like this since November 2005. It's the job market. I always try to console myself with, "He's lucky to *have* a job." (*knock on wood!*)

Okay, time for sleeeeep. Maybe even eight hours' worth, for a change?

Planning shopping trip for odds and ends of non-perishable food and other necessities today. I don't want Bunnicula to have to make any trips later in the week, when it's going to get REALLY COLD. We don't have a car, so he goes to the shopping center on foot.

With Fresh Market, he's able to get a bus at least one way, sometimes. But if it looks like Cat'r will be able to come up this coming weekend, I can eat jarred baby food for one day until Cat'r and B. can go to Fresh Market in the car.

Also, I told B. if we aren't expecting anything terribly important at the post office, we can skip a couple days and wait until Saturday morning, when Cat'r can take B. by there.

Tomorrow I think we'll do laundry: extra blankets, especially. And anything else we might need. It gets COLD down the basement.

Bunnicula is out shopping.

I just finished taking care of New_Hope today, plus going to The City. Phineas is there giving away balloons, pinwheels, and bubble blowers. :-) So Mousie and Sonny both went to get free goodies.

I need to get caught up in my paper journal. I'll just look here in CM's Refuge and take it from there.

Eep, I had eight hours' sleep last night--why am I feeling a nap coming on??

I thought we'd better start watching some of the things I had recorded, so this afternoon Bunnicula and I watched last night's "Desperate Housewives". Then we watched an episode of "Clean House".

Shortly after that, it was time to watch "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" real-time, which we did.

I have no idea what Keith Olbermann is planning on doing with his show after Barack Obama is our President; but if Obama is not screwing up royally, I don't really want to watch a program that will start finding fault with our new President. We'll see.

Time for (late) supper.
