Well, we just got a *new* DVR/cable box about 1/2 hour ago. Now I can actually program things to record beyond one day in advance again.

I hope this one doesn't do as much spontaneous rebooting as the other one did.

Back to breakfast.

I went to our AC:CF town of New_Hope. It's still perfect! Yay! I planted more flowers, watered the wilted ones, pulled the few weeds there were, and dug up some fossils. Fossils get taken to Blathers at the museum so he can identify them. If we don't have that piece in the museum yet, I donate it. If we do already have it, I get to sell it at Tom Nook's for a nice amount of Bells.

After that, I *was* going to take a nap, but instead I got sucked into playing with the new DVR. I set up favourite channels; and I went through all the upcoming movies on Turner Classic Movies and the Independent Film Channel, choosing several to record.

Bunnicula and I watched "Clean House" on the Style Channel. That's always interesting and nice. :-)

Now it's time for (a late) lunch. More TV- or DVD-viewing later.

I've been reading the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire series of books by Charlaine Harris. I'm currently reading Definitely Dead. Something really *really* bad has happened, something that changes everything.

You know an author is good if you're feeling the main character's pain as if it were your own...

• 09:42 New cable box/DVR installed. I've got it set up with our series we watch now. It's good to go. #
• 12:59 Our town reached perfect status last evening. It's still perfect today. I need a nap now. #
• 16:44 Stalling. Playing around with my laptop in the kitchen. Need to actually eat lunch. I get soooo distracted by the Internets. #
