Trying trying to remember the name of the place my late ex-husband lived before he had an apartment here in town.

It was a men's residence/club on the corner of William Howard Taft and Victory Parkway. It's gone now. And I can't remember the name at all.

Bunnicula said he lived there for a while way back when, also. He can't remember the name of it either.

I wish I knew the best way to search for this. I have tried everything I could think of to google for it. Nuts.

We have a high wind warning until 6pm tonight, and a high wind advisory until 9pm.

The remnants of Hurricane Ike are moving north through Indiana and Illinois and into Michigan now. There is also a cold front coming through.

Cat'r said he's lost power down in L'ville.

The warning said we could have sustained winds of 35 mph and gusts up to 50 or 60 mph. I can believe it, when I looked out the window a few minutes ago. Not what we are used to *here*!

I just ripped all my Hayley Westenra CDs (about 10!) and also a couple more Celtic Woman CDs.

Later I think I'll sit and knit or crochet and listen to music. :-)

Egads, it's still 90*F. here! I'll be glad when that cold front is through! This is tooooo hot!

Power went out when it was still hot out. We left for a cool place, which wasn't easy to find, what with power out a lot of places.

We are now at the Starbucks up the street, which is nice and cool at the moment.

Not sure what I will do for food, other than some Ensure I brought with me.

I don't know if we'll have power until tomorrow.

I SO wish Bob Dylan would shut up.
