First of all: Happy Canada Day, all you Canadians!

The GOF 8th Birthday Bash has started! Yay! I got a postcard in the mail yesterday from one of the people in the Postcard Exchange (I sent five postcards out, one to Brazil!).

We all got a present from the Games & Events Committee today, plus there are several games to play. I did two jigsaw puzzles and a "spot the differences" game. I shouldn't do all of them on the first day, or I won't have anything else to look forward to! I *should* get started on the scavenger hunt though, as that might take me a *while*.

Someone else in the GOF Quilters Club shared out four squares she had made, so I added those to my quilt. I hope I have a humongous quilt by the end of the month! :-D

I need to look for a movie or something for Bunnicula and me to watch this afternoon...

What I finally decided on for us to watch was Part 1 of "Eleanor and Franklin: The Early Years". I haven't seen this in forever, and I don't think Bunnicula has seen it at all.

Very well done. The only thing that is a little bothersome (for me) is that John Barry's music keeps intruding, making me think, "Oh, that sounds so 'Somewhere in Time'." (which film B. and I both adore). Otherwise we are enjoying it very much.
