Bunnicula

Bunnicula started on a new batch of hir medication a few days ago--generic, different manufacturer. Last night/this morning zie started feeling really flushed and dizzy (true vertigo).

At 8am zie phoned the doctor. He changed B.'s medication plus prescribed an anti-vertigo drug. Could be something viral in hir inner ear or something with the regular medication. If it doesn't get better, B. is supposed to go in to see the doc.

So B. is feeling kinda drained at the moment. But zie and Cat'r went out to do the grocery shopping anyway. :-/ Cat'r said he could do it, but B. said zie could go too.

Gaming

Cat'r and I played a nice calm civilized game of Scrabble. I won, but it wasn't a blow-out. We were both in the 200+ range. :-)

I hope we all play Hearts some time this weekend. And maybe Up and Down the River. And maybe Cosmic Wimpout.

Aaaah! Ravelry!

I need to stay away from Ravelry! Instead of inspiring me, it depresses me--I'll never be that accomplished! And such complicated patterns! Eep!

Maybe I should tentatively look for simple simple patterns there...

Food and games

Bunnicula said that getting out and doing the grocery shopping actually helped hir feel better--yay!

When they got back we got everything dated and stowed away--we put freezer tape and the date purchased on EVERYthing edible so we can rotate goods and use them in an timely fashion. It's good to get all stocked up again.

After a little time of resting, we all played Hearts (B. won) and Cosmic Wimpout (Cat'r won in Last Licks by 5 points!).

B. just got hirself some cereal with a banana on top (hir stomach has not been in great shape today, what with all the dizziness earlier); now Cat'r is fixing himself a steak on the George Foreman grill and some cheesy broccoli. After he's finished, I will get my little soft-foods meal.
