Games, media stuff, and more games

relaxedCat'r and I played a couple rounds of a fast-and-furious card game called "Blink". We all played another card game, a trick-taking game, called Njet. Cute. :-) I did TERRIBLE when I did not partner with someone, though!
Then I hid out in the bedroom while Cat'r and Bunnicula totally disassembled our multimedia setup, taking out the TiVo, laser disc player, and VCR (we'll use the last two again when we are all in a bigger place). We now have the TV, a tuner, the cable company's DVR machine, a DVD player, and our PS2 in/on the media cart. Cat'r is going to (re)hook up the GameCube and PSone later today.
In the afternoon we all went out lookin' for GAMES! I traded in a few DS games I had no intention of ever playing again. But I couldn't find anything I wanted at the first GameStop we went to. They gave me store credit, which is good at any of their stores. Then we drove a little further afield and went to our GameStop-of-choice. I found: My Word Coach (for the DS), Petz-Wild Animals-Dolphinz (for the DS), and My Horse and Me (for the Wii). B. bought Carnival Games (for the Wii) for all of us to play. :-) He also got himself a used copy of Jak 3.
I need to go get some breakfast now! And read the manual that goes with My Horse and Me--I'm not getting how to use the Wiimote and the nunchuk properly for riding.
