The sunlight is *so bright* this morning! I am having to squint even as I look at the computer screen right now. We have east-facing windows, and our curtains are white.

Even when the guys go to do the grocery shopping later, I won't be able to play "Endless Ocean" because it will be TOO BRIGHT in the living room to even see what I'm doing. Grrr.

I've always liked cloudy days better. Cool cloudy drizzly days are wonderful! :-)

OR how about a day of snowing?! We still have not had the one big snowfall we need to make this winter a "real" winter.

Late yesterday afternoon Cat'r and I played a new game he got called Quoridor. Nifty!

Then the guys went to Fresh Market. After that we played Hearts (Cat'r trounced us! He even Shot the Sun!!), Cosmic Wimpout (I won handily!), then watched two episodes of "Oyaji" ("Oh, Dad!").

Today Cat'r had an eye appointment. This afternoon Bunnicula and I took advantage of Cat'r's eyes still being dilated, so we all played Hearts again; and this time Cat'r lost. Heh.

Cat'r and I played more Quoridor. Neat game, pretty too! Wooden board, wooden pieces.

I went with Cat'r later on to help him pick out new glasses frames. They'll look nice. :-)

Then Cat'r and B. went grocery shopping, but ate out first. While they were gone I played "Endless Ocean"! I discovered Magu Tapa (a scary Great White Shark)! Eeeeeek! Ugly and very teethy!!

Okay, off to play the Golden Compass board game--NOT the American version--the German version (Der Goldene Kompass), which is much prettier and follows the book, not the movie.
