I played for hours this morning! Stuff I did ::thinking:: I finally got Kat's backstory out of her. Not telling what it is so that if any of you are playing or will be playing, you won't be spoiled. :-)

I had two different opportunities to make good enough friends with dolphins (seeing Pacific white-sided dolphins and common dolphins--I know where to find the latter again) that one might become my diving partner, but I can't seem to get them to like me well enough. ::sigh:: I need to ask the group I'm in if anyone has tips. I have Taffy, a bottlenose dolphin. There is room in my list for two more partners. A partner is great to take along on dives, as s/he points out little things for you, helping you find things you might not otherwise.

I saw lots of beautiful things today, as usual. We have, off and on, had a polar bear on deck! In the Real World I would not want to be anywhere near one--they are not even-tempered and are basically extremely dangerous. In the game, however, you can pet it and it becomes more friendly towards you. I would love to swim in-game with a polar bear! But I have not seen any in the water. Later on we had several penguins on the deck. They are SO CUTE!

Ooo, and I got to swim with Wendell seals today--so nice and peaceful. At first, when I came to the place they were swimming, I thought, "Yay! More manatees!" But they were seals. Still nice and graceful and placid. :-) In a different dive area I got to see some California sea lions.

And I know what I'll be doing next: looking for whales! I can't wait!

I changed this post to reflect things I have been thinking of, plus making the list more useful to me.

If/when we move in June or so, there will probably be a day/some days when I have no Internet access. I will still need to be able to post to one of my blogs everyday in order to keep up with the Blog 365 challenge. Enter voice posts via Utterz.

I hope to get the hang of voice posts pretty soon. Since they don't have a connection set up for InsaneJournal yet (but they think they will in the next few months--I hope!), my next line of defense will be my Blogspot blog, Mouse Droppings. So stay tuned for weird test messages over there. :-D

No lightning or thunder, thank goodness! But sheets and sheets of heavy rain, with wind swirling it all around. It was the twistiness of the wind that worried me.

But the main strong line of storms is through here, so all's well. :-)
