Late-night ramblings, mostly about snow

I wish we would have snow. Of course this runs counter to my recent thinking, "Wow, I'm glad it's going to be milder this week after that pretty durn cold weather we just had!".

But I sure would like us to have one good snowstorm this winter. Something on the order of a foot (12 inches) of snow would be good. And then for it to linger a week or more. Something that would look and feel WINTER-Y. But *not* an ice storm. We had one of those last winter; and although they look gorgeous to photograph, they are terrible in just about every other way, including power outages.

I need to go back to bed soon, get a couple more hours of sleep.

So many thoughts whirling around in my mind about possibilities of our moving in June/July...

P.S. Does anyone know about how to use Utterz and possibly how to make it work with InsaneJournal??

Yesterday and today (so far)

After the guys got back from the grocery yesterday, Cat'r and I played Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii. He played the main role, I played his support person, which was fun for me as I didn't have to do much. :-P I don't like/am not good at platform games, so he got to do all that hard stuff and I just helped out grabbing gems and stunning enemies. Beautiful game and fun!

All three of us did play 99. I remembered it once Cat'r re-explained the rules. It's a trick-taking game with regular playing cards. Bunnicula won that. Next we all played Quiddler, which is a card/word game, and Cat'r won *that*. :-)

After that Cat'r and I watched two episodes of "The Amazing Race". Then he fixed chicken fried rice for supper. I pooped out, so I went to bed *early*. I was up during the night and made the preceding post during the wee hours. Then I went back to bed right after that.

I slept late-ish this morning. Breakfast and reading. Cat'r and I watched the last two episodes of "The Amazing Race". Yay! We are happy with the people who won! :-) Nice guys don't always finish last. :-)

Cat'r and I played Scrabble...and I won. Then we all played 8-1/2, a fast and furious card game, which Bunnicula won. :-) Next was an old favourite: the original version of the Cheapass zombie game, "Give Me The Brain", a fun and funny card game. :-) Cat'r won that. :-) We all played a new (to us) Cheapass game, "Steam Tunnel". It was oKAY. I think we would've liked it better if we'd paid attention to the rules--it was a little confusing. Bunnicula won that.

B. is now fixing chili dogs.
