The day so far
Slept until 10am. Breakfast and more reading in yet another Weather Warden book, Firestorm, by Rachel Caine. Can't stop reading them. :-P
Then did the dishes. We do not have an automatic dishwasher. After we move, someday, they will probably upgrade the kitchen in our apartment. I don't think I even know how to operate an automatic dishwasher. I think Cat'r does; so if we get a place with a dishwasher (which I hope we do!), he can teach me. :-)
Bunnicula has gone out in the cold (18*F., wind chill/feels-like temp. 2*F.) on foot to get a few things at Fresh Market. Also to check our P.O. box. I made him wear a scarf (which I knitted for him years ago) that can cover his nose and mouth. He's also wearing a heavy-duty hat I loom-knitted a couple years ago. It has a double knitted-in cuff so it protects his ears well. Plus his coat is parka-style, so he is using the hood too. I hope I can convince him to eat something warm when he gets home.
So I'm just doing some catching up here online until he gets back. Then it will be time for me to do some cooking.
Oh yeah, we had a dusting of snow overnight. But all it did was just make a few slick spots for walking and driving.
ETA: Bunnicula got back safe and sound with all of hir 2000 parts intact and non-frozen. ::grin::
