Definitely not going to be of any real length or anything. Cat'r will be coming up today, getting here around 4pm.

I set aside as much time as possible for him on the weekends (when he's up here) because I don't get to have him around all during the week!

So Fridays are usually a little busy for me, getting the grocery list done, coupons clipped, straightening things up, getting ready.

Then we all spend time going places, playing board and card games, watching TiVo'd stuff and movies, etc.

I gotta do a backdated or something post about our holidays! I haven't yet! Well, I'll do that maybe next week.

Totally unrelated: I want a Kyocera Switchback phone! I am with Virgin Mobile, and they have it for $90 now. I want that QWERTY keyboard! Then I can Twitter from anyplace! LOL! :-P (need to put a link to my Twitter account on my profile page here!)

I'm taking this moment to post while Cat'r and Bunnicula are playing a two-handed version of Spite and Malice. As soon as they are finished, then we will all play Hearts. :-)

We game a lot. :-)

We used this beautiful Japanese-themed deck of cards to play Hearts. The scores were very close! I won with 93, Cat'r got 94, and Bunnicula had 100.

And: I SHOT THE MOON! I never go for that because I'm always afraid I won't be able to draw out all the other Hearts. But when Bunnicula passed me some high Hearts, I had the PERFECT hand: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten, Nine of Hearts plus a couple more Hearts; and the Ace and Queen of Spades. I think I had one Diamond. In about the second trick, Cat'r threw off the King of Spades, so I knew I was ready to go for it. I led with the Ace of Spades and kept the lead until about the last two tricks. I *almost* Shot the Sun! No such luck, because Bunnicula took the last two tricks. Still that was when the score got tight, with me making them each take 26 points. :-)
