I don't know if I'll be able to do it, but I'm gonna try. You don't have to post in the same blog as long as you post everyday. Heh. That will give me some latitude. I have CM's Diary, here, my Yahoo! 360* Blog, my new Blog 365 blog, and one other place. Oh yeah, and a little-used Blogspot blog called Mouse Droppings. Hehehehe.

I need more sleep. I went to bed *really early* last night (8:30pm), then got up in the middle of the night. Now I should get a bit more sleep.

I never got back to bed. I should think about lunch.

There's not a lot I *have* to do today. I should try to figure out what's wrong with the cordless phone. Reception is not good. Conversations sound fine on the corded phone. Hmm.

I will almost certainly read today.

ACK! I need to go to my two towns in Animal Crossing: Wild World! Especially Luisvill (pronounced LOO-ee-vil)--I need to check on Dora, to be sure she's happy and not contemplating moving. She used to live in Candlefd back in 2006; but through my stupid time-travelling, she left before I could stop her. :-( She's my favourite favourite character. A cute little white mouse. Anyway, she eventually turned up in Bunnicula's town of Haven, so I used to go visit her there. Then a couple weeks ago Dora left Haven without warning! Someone was ready to move out of my secondary town of Luisvill, so I let her, to make way for a possible move-in of Dora. And it happened! So I need to be sure I take good care of her.

Well actually, no Cat'r for me. :-( He won't be able to come up this weekend. He needs to work extra days to make up for the way they've changed the pay periods and stuff.

Maybe we can meet in one of our Animal Crossing towns. It sounds silly, but it feels like we are together, even though they are "only" avatars. I have blue hair right now. :-P I wonder if I should go to Shampoodle and get a new look before we meet? Heh. :-P

I got rid of all tags. I just hate having to do those. More trouble than they're worth.

Has anyone successfully used the ljarchive program? I tried using it, but it's asking for me to set something on the Edit Personal Information page of my LJ, but that something is not there...at least not anymore.

Maybe I will have to write to the support team for the program.

Any info on backing up one's LJ would be greatly appreciated.

This is where I come when I get confused by all those fancy blogs and such. You may remember I tried Grey Matter and Movable Type many years ago. I hated them. I came back to FrontPage and the non-cool-looking diary this is. I just hate having to work with code or anything that gets in the way of thinking about content.

The only problem is: there is no RSS feed. No one can comment. There is no community with this. I often feel I am writing into a void. I like LiveJournal a LOT, but it is now owned by a Russian media company. I don't know how I feel about that. Things may change or they may not.

I started a WordPress blog today, but I am not even going to show you that yet because it is tooo confusing for me. I have no idea even how to customize it.

All I really want to do is backup/archive my LiveJournal. I downloaded a program today to do that, but it's not working right. If I could get my LiveJournal archived, then I could decide if I want to go somewhere else. But where? There is a feeling of community there that I have not seen anywhere else. Although it's starting to feel sorta that way at the Blog 365 site. I just don't know what to do. I probably need sleep. I have been up since about 3am this morning. I meant to go back to bed and get more sleep, but I joined the Blog 365 thing, then started fiddling with my various journals/blogs/etc. Time got away from me.
