Well, today we've gotten up to around 45oF. !!! Some of the snow is melting, but it might take several days for it all to go away (not counting the huge mounds of snow that have been piled up in parking lots, etc.). Yay! for milder temps! I am sooo ready for milder weather! I am not ready for Spring yet, but I'm glad to be out of the deep freeze!

As for the hot water heater: on Saturday the hot water totally gave out around noon. The old heater was leaking. Then on Sunday, for some inexplicable reason, we had scalding hot water for about an hour or so, then back to icy-cold water again.

Today a repairman/maintenance man came and replaced the old heater with a new one. The old one was a gas hot water heater. I can't tell if this one is gas or electric. However, we are waiting waiting for it to heat the water up. I hope he actually set the thermostat at the proper temperature. :-P We shall see!

We had SNOW (about 3-4 inches of it) on Saturday! On top of the ice.

But we went out anyway. :-P Bunnicula, Cat'r, and I went to Target (ooooo Tamagotchi phone straps!!), Toys R Us (Bunnicula and I each got a Tamagotchi V4, which I hope we'll start up this week sometime), and a men's clothing store (Cat'r needed some shirts, etc.). Then we dashed home.

Then Cat'r and I went back out to a nearby Starbucks to meet Baker and Bebop (whom we haven't seen in MONTHS!). :-) We had a really nice time, chatting and playing Pickomino (what I call "Worms on a Barbie"--BBQ)). We're getting together again next weekend! :-)

OMG, I forgot to mention what coool gifts Baker and Bebop got for me for my birthday--received belatedly (unavoidable), but who cares?! :-P They gave me a San-X stuffed toy that's a, well, cat that's a piece of cherry cheesecake! Too cute! I love it! And then, in a ball (like you get from a gumball machine) were all the parts to make a miniature Animal Crossing: Wild World HOUSE!!! This one had the Ranch series of furniture, plus wallpaper and flooring! So detailed, so cute! Kawaii!!!! I will eventually get pics of both up on my site. I mean I *took* photos...I am just being lazy about updating my photo sections. :-P
