CountryMouse's Refuge

I just re-upped my LiveJournal subscription. And that made me get all nostalgic and want to look at early entries. Well, September five years ago wasn't that great for me or for the nation. Oh well. :-/

I haven't posted much this year at ALL. I guess I've been doing that mostly over in CountryMouse's Diary instead.

So, to try to talk about day-to-day stuff here, which I haven't in a long while:

Bunnicula is out (on foot--no car, remember?) voting for me at one of two public libraries, then going to get some things for me at the grocery. After he comes home with those things, he will go up to the post office and also vote for me at the *other* public library that's relatively nearby. He can't vote for me in the web comps. here at home because we are on the same ISP, so his home-vote wouldn't count.

I should be doing some dishes, but I am procrastinating.

After I do a little cooking, maybe later on B. and I will watch another episode of the series "To Serve Them All My Days", which we watched long long ago on PBS. I am reading the book at the same time.

Okay, I tried out a lotta S2 styles. But I still like this pale yellow print on dark blue background of the S1 style Punquin Elegant. Can you believe you can't get Mystic (this dark blue theme) with Punquin Elegant in the S2 setting? Grrr.

I might still change my mind. I'm paying for this, so I might as well take advantage of some other interesting styles....But I also have to think of my eyes and what I can stand to read on my Friends Page for long periods of time! heh.
