She is having surgery this afternoon, probably early afternoon, to relieve the pressure on her brain and to evacuate the blood pooled up in there.

Mama's surgery didn't take long, and she came through it well. Now it's a matter of seeing how much her brain can get back to where it was and how long that will take. It's going to be a day-to-day thing...
