(earlier/first entry here) Thursday afternoon Cat'r and I went to the florist's. He's making me a little nosegay-type bouquet in various colours of lavender and purple, with tulle (lace?) around it and ribbons coming down. It should be ready soon. :-) I will need to get a little extra length of matching ribbon from him for the rings to be on until we bless and exchange them at the ceremony.

So we are getting handfasted on Wednesday, April 13th (Thomas Jefferson's birthday, BTW)! At 11am.

Our Priestess came over Thursday evening and brought some printed materials. We talked about various things, plus just visited. The time really got away from us all, and it was 11pm before we broke up our meeting!

Cat'r and I will be writing our vows and ceremony this weekend, I guess. Then we will get together with our Priestess again next week.

I ordered some beautiful metallic-looking yarn. I will be crocheting the cords to braid together, to make the cord for our literal handfasting. :-)

Texas will be Cat'r's best man (and also photographer). Bunnicula will, in effect, be my Matron of Honour. So there will be five of us. :-)
