Shopping expedition
Cat'r took me shopping this afternoon. I needed shoes and a purse for Easter (yes, I actually want to go to church on Easter). I *was* looking for some kind of off-white flats, but ended up with some really cute round-toed white flats. That was at the second shoe store we went to. The first one was one I'd never been to before and was waaayyy too expensive for me. Shoe Carnival is my friend. :-P $20 shoes. :-)
Then we went for pizza.
Then back to the business at hand. I found a cute white purse at T.J. Maxx, plus a cute blue-green cotton print full skirt (which jumped out at me and screamed BUY ME!), and some knee-high stockings and trouser socks.
On to the supermarket, where I got some L'Eggs and NoNonsense knee-highs, plus some white slouch socks.
Wow, there were so many shoppers out today! I guess everyone is doing shopping for Spring, even though it feels mighty wintry still!
P.S. It was so cute to watch Cat'r helping out some little old ladies at Shoe Carnival reach shoe boxes that were way too high up, but that the tall Caterpillar had no problem with. :-)
