I'm about ready to leave this one crochet mailing list I have been on since last fall. The list mods. have a list of "banned" words that shouldn't be used in the topic line, but you don't know what those words are until you transgress and get an email about it. There are other censorship issues going on there also.

In addition, a lot of flame-y stuff happens; and "rules" get enforced unevenly. And they wonder why there are so many lurkers and only a small group of regular posters.

I stayed on because there was info coming through that I couldn't find anywhere else. But I am about to leave.

I *love* LiveJournal's crochet community. I just started looking at another forum also.

Geez, looking at BBs and email and everything else, avoiding the inevitable: make the grocery list.

Well, maybe just a peek at Toontown Central......
