Last night I started getting welcome messages in my guestbook. I also got a couple invites (well, they are really requirements) to join two email groups--one for announcements and one for the committee I will be/am on.

I haven't gotten any other "official" email yet, but I expect that will happen in the next day or so.

I have been thinking and thinking (and searching the Web) about what webset to use for my GOF dedication page this time. I guess I will probably go back to the set I bought from Vikimouse, which is a lovely pink-and-white garden theme. I will just need to pare it down. I had overloaded it with all kinds of graphics and geegaws in its last GOF dedication page incarnation. I think I will find different music too.

Hmm...I'm gonna take another look at a set I downloaded from Moon and Back Graphics this morning...

Just light snow, very light...but so magical!

Last night we all watched the first two episodes of Season One of "Deadwood". I am glad to say Bunnicula likes it. :-) He reiterated last night that the Old West is not one of his favourite periods in history; but that he does like this series. :-)

Cashbot HQ opened in Toontown (open/regular) yesterday! After a couple not-good experiences (losing the rest of my party in a very difficult puzzly platform-jumping area and foolishly going on to see if maybe I *could* do the rest of the Mint...hehe, I went sad when I couldn't single-pawedly defeat four Level 11 skelecogs; and then having a spectacular computer crash not long after that, just after teleporting to a friend), Lady Marigold (Bunnicula) and I went in with a couple others and did the Mint. Wow, it was a long floor, lots of puzzles and fighting and such! B. was tired after that and needed sleep, so I went in with three other high-level toons a second time and again a long long floor. Fun, though! Wow, those stompers sure can do a number on you if you have ANY lag!
