Pensnstuff - it's all Cat'r's fault!
So last night Cat'r flushed out his fountain pens and let them dry, then filled them with new colours. The one I suggested that is utterly cool is his all-black Lamy Safari with black nib, having blood-red Diamine Monaco Red ink flowing from it! ::evil laughter::
So then of course I needed to check and tend to all *my* pens today. That took a while, since I am such a hoarder (HOARD-ER, not something bad!).
I still need to decide which of my two Pelikan M200's I want to put that lovely Binderized oblique cursive italic nib in that was a gift from![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
vdo_addict. I am loathe to change *anything* about the pen I bought in memory of Ian, our dear friend who died last December. That's the amber translucent M200, which I have filled with an ink mix he came up with. So probably the specialty nib will go into my marble-y green M200. Then I will have to decide on an ink. I haven't tried the Diamine Claret yet......
I still LOVE pink ink! I refilled my gold/orange Parker Inflection (with broad italic nib) with Private Reserve Shell Pink; and I refilled my Platignum calligraphy pen (with fine italic nib) with the BC Awareness ink mix I made from a recipe in a pen group I am in.
Woohoo, Private Reserve is coming out with short international ink cartridges! I am gonna have to preorder some!
