Truer words etc.
At a Democratic National Committee unity dinner, Bill Clinton said (among many other things),
(re: the Republicans) "They love power. They know how to get it and they know how to keep it," Clinton said, adding at another point, "They've always got white shirts and ties. They're the 'mature party,' they're the 'Daddy party.' They remind me of teenagers that got their inheritance too soon and couldn't wait to blow it."
And blow it they sure did. Clinton left this country with a surplus budget and look how fast the Republicans blew it. Look where we are now.
If we can't have Clinton back (and boy I wish we could), then please let's get John Kerry into the White House in November!
