Pastors Condemn Gay Marriage. [EDIT Jan. 24, 2008: The link no longer works.] The part that really galls me is that they think civil rights means black rights, exclusively black rights. Sure, Blacks sure *do* have civil rights; but so does EVERYONE ELSE! And to say gay people don't know what suffering is?? How about beatings and intimidations and killings. Um...sound familiar to black folks? You betcha.

I seem to remember in the historic PBS documentary "Tongues Untied" that black gay men said it was *especially* difficult for them to come out, that the black community was much harsher in their condemnation of gays than the white community. :-(

See above. I have a cold, a nasty old cold. I can't think well. I was playing today and finished a task. I went shopping for a new one. I was intrigued by the new ones for Sellbot HQ. I *thought* I was choosing one to help a newbie in the factory or sumpin. In reality what I chose (and will probably carry around until the end of time) is Rescue Two Toons from Sellbot HQ. IOW, I have to fight and win against the VP twice. Urgh.

I have not been to see the VP in...months? I have done the factory once lately, just to keep my hand in. But no one calls on me, and I don't ask if anyone is going to see the VP. I am a lowly Level 3 Cold Caller. I sure as heck do NOT want to try to go see the VP while I am sick. I can't think well and could endanger the party.

Oh well, I'll just be more careful about my other tasks. Just-plain-cogs tasks are safest.

Well, I got onto Toontown to help out spikesbird, but she wasn't there yet. So I went with a friend to fight the VP! I was ready, and she had an opening. We beat him, I am halfway finished with my task, and I am now a Level 4 Cold Caller! Woohoo! After that Lady Raven showed up, then brought out her other toon she was playing; Lady Marigold joined me online, and the three of us went in search of Minglers to help Lady R.'s toon complete her tasks! We did it, and all went well. :-)
