I did the fanciest page yet--wow, I don't think I will be doing one like *that* again for a looong time! SO MANY tables-within-tables!

I put a simple little memorial up on August 31st, 1997 to Princess Diana. I finally redid it in a more royal, lovely manner. Here it is, A Memorial to the People's Princess. [EDIT Jan. 24, 2008: I took it down a year or so ago--not very much content]

It's still simple, in its way.

Just listening to new (to me) music! I just got a big introductory package from Columbia House (yes, I rejoined).

I got a cute little fountain pen/ballpoint pen set up at our local bookstore this afternoon. It's from Inoxcrom, and the set was around $12! These pens are transparent, in different colours. I chose the red/orange set, with a stupefied-looking bull on it and a black lightning bolt on the clip! :-P The other sets I saw were: black with white heavy-lidded sheep with Z's on the clip; blue with octopus and whale; blue with a worried-looking dolphin.

These fountain pens use short international cartridges. One comes in it, and a placeholder/empty cartridge was in the barrel also. I popped in a J.Herbin cartridge of Terre de Feu (fire-y earth? burnt earth?), and the pen writes nice and smoooth. :-)

I wish I'd had enough money to get other sets, they were so cute! I did exhort the sales clerk to "carry more fountain pens!". Well, hoping that he might mention it to someone higher up.
